A lot of trees on rooftops, a lot of weed in cool spots. 

To sell for $10 a g, a fair price, is to risk your life, 

to get locked up with slingers of guns and knives. 

But, there's no better feeling than seeing the Manhattan lights at night

from a rooftop with a ceiling fan, there are a few stars but not a sea of them.

You hear cars better than you hear the wind.

For that type of thing you need to go inland.

… We still slow dance in our kitchens since love is truly free. 

From the fourteenth floor, it’s easy to see. 

From street-level units, you’ll drown before you’ll ever be.

There’s hidden beauty in the concrete jungle, but nobody ever looks up.

Nobody but me.
